NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

RIVES TOWNSHIP, MICHIGAN

AMENDMENTS TO MASTER PLAN BY PLANNING COMMISSION

Notice is hereby given that a public meeting of the Rives Township Planning Commission will be held Monday, March 4, 2019 a 6:30 pm at the Rives Banquet Hall, 335 Railroad St., Rives Junction, Michigan. During this meeting, the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to obtain public input regarding the Planning Commission’s review and response to three (3) objections by the Township Board to the draft 2019 Master Plan for Rives Township.

1. The Future Land Use Map (FLU) is updated regarding the industrial use in Section 7.
2. The Future Land Use Map (FLU) is updated regarding the commercial use in Section 16 and 21.
3. The Master Plan page 3-4 wording updates are shown in blue color of the draft page 3-4 of the four (4) wording changes approved.

These update changes can be viewed on the Rives Township website (www.rivestownshipmi.com) or in person during office hours, Monday through Thursday 11 am to 4 pm, at the Rives Township offices 348 E. Main St., Rives Junction, Michigan, 517-569-3100. Written comments regarding these updates should be directed to the Rives Township Clerk at the Township office at address given above.
